We are encouraging mixed income and mixed typologies on the respective sites that are to be developed in Woodstock, Salt River and the inner-city. 

 
Although there is a minimum target for the social housing units to be provided, developers and Social Housing Institutions may include GAP housing, as well as open market units (for those who do not need state assistance), as part of the developments. It is anticipated that some proposals may contain a mix of housing units. 
 
We will be able to inform the public about the mix of housing units proposed for the various sites once the tender process has closed by the end of February 2018.
