Transport for Cape Town (TCT), the City of Cape Town’s transport authority, would like to advise business, residents and road users in the Plattekloof area of the planned road rehabilitation in Meyboom Avenue. The proposed works, which will take place on a section of Meyboom Avenue from Vlamboom Crescent (North) to Vlamboom Crescent (South), will entail the excavation (milling) and resurfacing of the existing roadway.

Traffic along this section of road will be affected from 10 October 2016 until 14 October 2016, depending on favourable weather conditions. We will try to ensure access to your property. It is difficult to remove bitumen from vehicles’ bodies and it is therefore in your own interest to comply with the traffic arrangements of the appointed contractor.

TCT would like to thank road users and residents for their patience and cooperation during any delays that may be caused by this important refurbishment project.
