Transport for Cape Town hosted the City’s first Transit Oriented Development Summit on 20 and 21 October at the Cape Town Stadium.

The Summit focussed on the relationship between public transport and urban development and how Cape Town can become a more sustainable city by ensuring that denser settlements are serviced by quality public transport.

Mayor Patricia de Lille addressed the summit as well as the leadership of Transport for Cape Town and international experts on the relationship between vibrant city development and public transport.
